manufacturers of architectural grade hardware, and security
locking systems. You will find their locking systems in Class
A office buildings, hotels, and government facilities.
Assa Abloy's home office is in Sweden. Once
they chose to locate their regional office in the building
owned by JSC Realty Investments, they selected an architect
and engineer and came up with a plan. I was invited to bid
on this project and landed the job, though it was out of budget,
as most plan and spec jobs are.
Upon being awarded the job, we value engineered
about $50,000 out of the cost, still giving them what they
desired. This project came in on time and within budget with
a net project cost of $767,000. |
